Adventures of a DnD group.
GM: “After several weeks of traveling, you come finally come to the town of Vallenwood.”
Cleric: “Vallenwood? But the map says RiverWash.”
Elderly man: “No ma’am, this here’s Vallenwood.”
Cleric: “Are you sure?”
Elderly man: “Yes ma’am, been here my whole life, as did my father, and his father, and his father before him.”
Cleric: *Looking at the map* “But I’m sure I read this correctly.”
Elderly man: “I think I found your problem right here.” *Grabbing the map and rotates it 90 degrees.* “If you want, there are a few compasses for sale in the general store over there.”
Druid: “Gee, who could’ve foresaw that happening.”
Monk: “So, I guess what you’re saying is *Grabs the sunglasses off of Druid and puts them on* you made a clerical error?”
*Several minutes later*
Officer: *Reporting to the Captain of the Guard* “And by the time we got there and broke up the scuffle. She already had the glasses shoved down his throat and was beating him with a rolled up map.”
